The 2026 season of Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers EMEA is officially underway, continuing Riot Games’ expanded global competitive roadmap across multiple regions.
Riot confirmed major structural changes to the VCT 2026 ecosystem, including expanded international events, a new Kickoff format, and a direct qualification path for Challengers teams to reach Champions.
The broader VCT 2026 calendar features major international events hosted in:
• Masters Santiago – Chile
• Masters London – United Kingdom
• Valorant Champions – Shanghai, China
• Valorant Game Changers Championship – November, host city to be confirmed

In 2026, Masters events expand from eight to 12 teams. Kickoff tournaments now use a triple elimination format, with three teams qualifying directly to Masters Santiago. Stage 2 Playoffs will also function as destination events within regional cities.
For the first time since franchising began, four Challengers teams will qualify directly to Champions through Stage 2 Playoffs, effectively replacing the former Ascension system.
Within that global ecosystem, Game Changers EMEA remains one of the premier regional leagues dedicated to women and marginalized gender players across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

With Stage 1 now concluded, the regional standings are beginning to shape the road toward later international qualification.

What Is VCT Game Changers EMEA
Valorant Champions Tour Game Changers is Riot Games’ dedicated competitive circuit for women and marginalized gender players, operating alongside the main VCT international events.
While Masters events and Champions represent the highest tier of global competition, Game Changers runs its own regional and international championship structure.
Strong performances in EMEA can lead to qualification for the Game Changers Championship later in the year, which is part of the official VCT calendar.
Stage 2 Dates and Points Allocation
VCT 2026 Game Changers EMEA Stage 2 will take place from: April 27 to May 24, 2026
Stage 2 will feature 10 teams competing for a total of 250 EMEA circuit points.
At the end of the stage, six teams will qualify for Stage 3 and circuit points will heavily impact final season standings.
With the largest point pool so far this season, Stage 2 could significantly reshape the leaderboard.
Looking Ahead
Stage 1 has established early momentum for Gentle Mates GC, but the season remains wide open.
With 250 circuit points available in Stage 2 and international events approaching across the global calendar, the pressure will intensify.
The next split may determine whether Stage 1 dominance carries forward or whether challengers close the gap.
